WHAT IS GROOVINYASA? Groovinyasa fuses vinyasa yoga, live music, and meditation for a fun and heartfelt experience. This practice provides a healthy dose of both energizing movement and sacred stillness to raise our collective vibration. The act of yoga practiced with inner awareness and outward liberation initiates a profound experience of our own divinity and fosters deeper connection and compassion toward others. Pairing this practice with meditation, breathwork, and sounds of live music is a truly holistic experience with all senses engaged. Both yoga and live music can prompt stress reduction, pain relief, and self-reflection.

When we breathe, listen, and move together there is a subtle shift from thinking to feeling and from self to community. We emerge from the experience more nourished and awakened, ready to love and dance!

Groovinyasa has collaborated with musicians such as Jeremy Garrett (fiddle player, Infamous Stringdusters), D.J. Williams (guitarist, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe & Shots Fired Band), The Trongone Band (Southern rock band, Richmond, VA), Todd Herrington (bassist, Cris Jacobs Band), Russell Lacy (guitarist, Richmond, VA), & Tim Beavers (guitarist, People's Blues of Richmond).

Groovinyasa has made appearances at music festivals and music venues from coast to coast and even Mexico.
