Ali Bullano, MSW, LCSW, E-RYT 500

Founder of Therapy for the Times & Yoga for the Times

Ali Bullano is a somatic psychotherapist, licensed clinical social worker, and trauma-informed yoga instructor offering holistic, body-centered therapy for the world we’re living in. Her work bridges the wisdom of the body with the insight of the mind, creating space for true integration and healing.

Together, you’ll learn to recognize and release stored stress and emotion, nurture self-trust and intuition, and uncover the deeper patterns shaping your experience.

When appropriate, Ali also incorporates spiritual and ceremonial elements to deepen connection with self, community, and the sacred.

Through her Therapy for the Times approach, Ali helps you move beyond talk therapy to reconnect with the body’s innate wisdom — gently reclaiming the parts of yourself held by trauma and restoring a sense of embodied presence and inner safety.

Somatic Therapy

Our bodies hold the stories words can’t always tell. Somatic therapy helps you reconnect with the wisdom of your body as a pathway to healing. By noticing and working with physical sensations, breath, and movement, you can release what’s been held inside — restoring balance, safety, and presence. Healing doesn’t just happen in the mind; it happens through the body.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy that helps the brain and body process unresolved memories and experiences of trauma. Rather than talking through every detail, EMDR supports your natural healing process so that past pain feels less charged and more integrated. It’s a way of helping your nervous system find balance and safety again.

Depression & Anxiety Treatment

Depression and anxiety are deeply connected to the nervous system. Working with Ali, you’ll learn to notice shifts in your body and mind, and develop strategies to soothe and regulate your nervous system. Together, we’ll also explore the root causes of your anxiety and depression, supporting healing that goes beyond symptoms.
